In a Literature Project titled, “Delicious Descriptive Dining,” FRA 1st Graders, in Mrs. Paulette Eilers’ Class, recently founded the 1st Grade Gator Café. Our 18 young chefs combined culinary skills to create a dining experience which enabled them to learn about “Descriptive Writing” through use of personal experience. This was certainly a project that “awakened the 5 senses.”
