Our students heard a powerful and heartbreaking presentation from a family whose lives were forever changed by drunk driving. Our students not only heard their message but also truly felt it. They spoke about the magnitude of impact that a single poor decision can have on families, the importance of driving safely every time they get in a vehicle, and how the dash between the date we are born and the date we are called home is a small symbol that represents so much, and left

The Community Cash for Schools program allows schools to earn money by redeeming Proofs of Purchase found on Community® products. Participating schools encourage parents, teachers, and other supporters to collect Proofs of Purchase, bringing communities together in support of a great cause. FRA would like to congratulate our 2025-2026 Students of the Year: Davin Hartman (5th), Emma Thibodeaux (8th), and Preston Guillory (12th). In January, these students were recognized as Regional Honorees and they will advance to the next round of competing for the Louisiana Department of Education’s 2025-2026 Student of the Year selection!
